Labor Day weekend was spent relaxing at the river, eating, and a father/son first hunting trip. We felt like Harris was now old enough, but when Jimmy started getting all of the camo gear out, Elliott started jumping up and down saying "we're going hunting! Yes!"...so, Elliott started a little sooner than planned. For a little while, Harris (the sensitive one) was all sad about the poor birds, but by the end of the day, he was telling stories of how 'Daddy shot the beak off of that one' and their grand plans to 'dissect the birds to see what's on the inside'.
