After 11 hrs of labor (I guess 4ths aren't always shorter than 3rds!) and one intense natural delivery...our little Erynn was born on 11/14/11 at 7:41 am. She weighed 8lb,11oz and was 21 inches long. We're so blessed to have her...she's as sweet as she is beautiful!

Erynn LeeAnn Powell is due November 18th. We're very excited and so are her brothers, who've nicknamed her 'rock star baby' and refuse to call her by any other name! Halloween is E-man's all-time favorite holiday by far. He starts asking us to get all of the decorations down in early September. Here he is w/ the infamous creeper mask. He only likes the super-scary costumes. He holds the masks more than he wears them because he likes looking at them so much.

Mickey came home from preschool with Elliott the other day. Then we had to write a story about our adventures with Mickey and send a picture. Elliott was quite the gracious host. Pete was also thrilled; some of his newest words are "oh, boy" and "hot dog". Not really sure why he screams "TODAY!" at the top of his lungs. Just before nap, Mickey toured the yard on the green '4-wheeler' (that actually has holes in the tires b/c it has been worn slap out by this boy). I highly recommend it if anyone's in the market for a 2-seater power-wheel. Doesn't slip in wet grass.

Labor Day weekend was spent relaxing at the river, eating, and a father/son first hunting trip. We felt like Harris was now old enough, but when Jimmy started getting all of the camo gear out, Elliott started jumping up and down saying "we're going hunting! Yes!"...so, Elliott started a little sooner than planned. For a little while, Harris (the sensitive one) was all sad about the poor birds, but by the end of the day, he was telling stories of how 'Daddy shot the beak off of that one' and their grand plans to 'dissect the birds to see what's on the inside'.

These first pics are from the pirate house restaurant in savannah,GA. We got to eat inside our own private dining area called the 'herb house'...it is the oldest structure in Georgia. Elliott was disappointed that he couldn't run through the restaurant with his sword, hunting for pirate 'ghostesses'.
